Keep your hands off me lucky charms… well and in this case keep your hands off me lucky truffles.  I do love my lucky charms but I think you and I will agree that these truffles are D-E-licious!!! Yummm… I am not Irish but I do really enjoy this Holiday, the food and of course the Green Beer.  Yummm!

I know I know its been a while since I have posted anything new but Party Cat Pastries has been busy at contributing to the cause.  As of most of you know this month is not only October slash halloween but it is also Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Party Cat Pastries was invited to sponsor an event for “Parties 4 Charity” last week.  It was an amazing event.  Party Cat Pastries with the help of her best friend Margie had a table set up decorated with truffles and mini cupcakes to hand out to the guest.

Lighting wasn’t the greatest but you get the idea.  Yeah thats me behind the table.

Yeah we had 50 truffles and 72 cupcakes wiped out within 2 hours.  It was a great event and I have to thank “Parties 4 Charity” for inviting me to this event.  The menu consisted of pink vanilla mini cupcakes topped with white chocolate cream cheese frosting and adorned with a white chocolate ribbon.  Cute huh!

And the main event was the truffles of course…They were topped off with these cute pink ribbon sprinkles that I found.  They were a hit…We already knew that though…Duh!  :)

Next week is truffle week in P.c.P.’s kitchen…So to kick off the week early we prepared a sweet treat that I think every girl will love.  Got some new great ideas from a new book that we invested in last week.  I cant wait to do more…

Tis the season for new babies to come into the world… something must be in the air because baby showers are in bloom for sure.  I had a close friend give me a ringy dingy and she had a special request that PcP make her baby shower treats.  I was honored of course, I love being part of people big memories… Weddings, baby showers, 1st Birthdays… It truly is a blessing.  Baby Brody is coming into the world in a short while so it was time for his celebration.  Cant wait to meet him!!  So in his honor Party Cat Pastries put together some yummy treats for mommy and friends.  First we did a onesie cake all made out buttercream and vanilla cake.

Mommy loved the cake!!

Then to add to the mix was mini cupcakes topped off with some yummy chocolate bears!!!

And we cant forget about the truffles…

I just love it how Party Cat Pastries is so versatile.  If you think it P.c.P. will make it!  I had a special request for a THANK YOU Basket and I knew what had to be done… We gathered up a  fun colored basket together with a dozen truffles, 6 home made sugar cookies coated in royal icing and 6 home made double chocolate chip brownies.  Can you say YUMMMM?

I must say, I was honored to have made these little guys. A co-worker had requested some truffles with the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon on them. I was like, sure, no problem. They were for her Sister in Law which is battling Breast Cancer. I didn’t even know the full story until I brought them to her the next day. Yes, like all females do, we exchanged some tears. Man I think I’m tearing up just thinking about it. Anyway, she is a strong person for making it this far and woman like her deserve a lot of respect. On behalf of Party Cat Pastries I dedicated these truffles to her!!

Never thought that I would make something so special. Well, mission accomplished. Remain strong and keep your faith.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time!! Well not really. Hold the jelly and all we have is just peanut butter. Im not a big fan but for those of you who love Peanut Butter come and meet your new friend. Her name is Peanut Butter Truffle. Oh yeah… the verdict has come in and the people say yum yum. Dont be fooled by the normal look of the Tru-La-La Truffle but once you bite into them you will be surprised by the yummy peanut buttery flavor. Take a peek…

What a wonderful day! The whole year should be dedicated to Moms… After all they are the ones that brought us into the world and made us who we are. Anyway, I hope that all the Moms out there had a great time today. For the special day I made some yummy truffles arranged in a cute basket…We had some truffles on lollipop sticks and some good old fashion truffles to match. I had 16 total orders and it took 3 days to get them ready. Thanks to my BFF I wouldn’t have been able to do it in 3 days… Many thanks to Margie. Come to find out I should have made a couple extra. These bad boys were a hit and people were asking if I had made any extras. Shoulda…Coulda…will do next time. Well, here they are.
